Cookie policy
Which cookies and similar technologies the RelikReview website uses, and how to control them.
Last updated
In plain terms
- Analytics cookies only after you accept
- No advertising cookies
- Change your choice any time in Cookie settings
- Third-party sites set their own cookies
01What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in a similar way. This policy covers both.
02Cookies we use
The RelikReview website uses Google Tag Manager to load measurement tools such as Google Analytics. These set analytics cookies (for example _ga) that count visits and show which pages people use and how they found the site. They do not tell us your name, and we use the results only to improve the site.
Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in our cookie banner. Until you choose, and if you reject them, Google Tag Manager runs with storage turned off (Google Consent Mode), so no analytics or advertising cookies are written. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage under the name rr-consent, so the banner does not ask again on every page. It is kept for 12 months, then we ask again. Choices such as light or dark mode are kept only while the page is open and are not stored on your device.
03Third parties
| Service | What happens | Cookies |
|---|---|---|
| Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics | Measure visits and page use on our site | Analytics cookies such as _ga, kept for up to 2 years under Google's policy |
| WhatsApp, Telegram, email | When you click a contact link, you leave our site for that service | Set by that service under its own policy |
| Review platforms | Links to G2, Trustpilot, Capterra and others open their sites | Set by that platform under its own policy |
We do not control third-party cookies. Each service's own cookie policy explains what it sets.
04How to control cookies
Click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to accept, reject or change your choice at any time. If you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics cookies already set on our domain.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works if you do. To stop Google Analytics on every site, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
05Changes to this policy
If we add advertising or any other new cookies, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
